Anthony and Theresa Zannoni SURF Program
The UTHSC Department of Pharmacology, with support from the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, offers a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. Undergraduate students with interests in biomedical research may apply for a summer research fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center located in Memphis, TN.
Accepted students will conduct research with a faculty mentor for the summer and receive housing plus a $4,000 stipend. Students will interact with faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the lab as well as in seminars and social events. Ideal candidates are students from US undergraduate institutions who are entering their junior or senior year, but others are encouraged to apply.
