PICU Resident Education
We have registered our institution for the SCCM Learn ICU course to enable the residents improve their critical care education.
All residents rotating thru' PICU would need to register for this course and complete a pre-test before their ICU rotation. Upon completing the pretest, they would gain access to PICU based lectures.
The Attendings or fellows will review some of these topics with the residents during their rotations. However, the remaining topics will need to be reviewed by the residents.
At the end of their 2-month rotation (1 month for Med- Peds), they will be expected to complete the post-test. This information will be essential for their rotation evaluation. We will collate this information to improve the ICU educational experience.
