Diversity Photo Contest

What does Diversity mean to you?

The Office of Equity and Diversity encourages Students, Faculty, Trainees, and Staff to enter in this quarter's Diversity Photo Contest. Take an original photograph based on each theme and submit your photograph for your chance to win a $20 gift card! This quarter's theme is "What does Diversity mean to you?" Who may enter?

The digital photo contest is open to Students, Faculty, and Staff


Quarter 1 (July 1 – September 30) Topic - What does diversity mean to you?


One entry per theme. Each entry must be in digital form, saved as a JPEG at 300 DPI, and submitted by email to by deadline. YOU MUST BE THE SOLE PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE IMAGE.

Submission Requirements

  1. Completion of Submission Form found on OED website is required to validate entry.
  2. Send email with photo caption connecting to the submission theme to along with photograph saved as JPEG attachment.
  3. Entries must be high resolution JPEG 300 DPI/5 megapixels or higher.
  4. The judges assume all identifiable persons have given their consent to be photographed.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be judged by the committee on the following:

  1. Originality
  2. Communication of diversity theme
