Programs of Study

Programs of study are offered at the graduate level. The academic year includes an 8-week Summer term and two 20-week terms in the Fall and Spring. The start date of classes and terms per year are determined by the individual program and clinical option.


Graduate:

  • Master of Science - Nursing (MSN) Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL)

    The Master's Entry CNL program prepares non-nurses for initial licensure as registered nurses and certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader.
    The BSN-CNL MSN program prepares licensed RN’s with a BSN degree for certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader.

The UTHSC College of Nursing is a member of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) Electronic Campus for distance education courses, programs and services offered through many institutions of higher education in the southeastern United States.
