Curriculum Vitae

Sherry Webb joined the UTHSC College of Nursing in December 2005. She is the program coordinator for the Dedicated Education Units (DEUs). She teaches leadership and complex healthcare systems in the graduate program. Her scholarship is in the areas of quality, safety, and teaching-learning models.

Sherry has been a nurse for 39 years and has experience in acute care and home health with extensive practice in management and education. She has been a nursing educator for seventeen years, serving on the faculty at Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis, TN, University of Memphis College of Nursing, Memphis, TN, and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Memphis, TN.

A native of Memphis, TN, Sherry received her diploma in nursing from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Memphis, TN, and Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Memphis, Memphis, TN and her Master of Science degree in Nursing with a concentrated area of study in Nursing Administration from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She obtained a DNSc in nursing administration at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in December, 2006.
