Brenda Hill joined the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as an Instructor in the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) Program in June 2010. She received her BSN from UTHSC in 1989 and her MSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. Brenda’s primary clinical focus is pediatrics, and she currently maintains certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Brenda’s clinical experience has been primarily in pediatric intensive care and pediatric oncology. She has also worked in college health and labor and delivery/newborn care.
Brenda currently teaches Health Assessment, Introduction to Professional Practice, Pediatric and Adolescent Health, and Reproductive Health in the CNL program. She is one of the faculty advisors for the Student Nurses Association on campus. Brenda is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and, American Nurse’s Association, and Tennessee Nurse’s Association.
