WALL HONORED BY AAMC GROUP ON STUDENT AFFAIRS
A pediatrician by training, Dr. Wall’s first service to the AAMC and GSA was as a member of the National Task Force on Student Retention from 1985 to 1987. He also served as chair for the GSA’s Southern Region from1986 to 1987 and as GSA national chair from 1993 to 1994.
Since the early
1980s, Dr. Wall has been a national leader in the Aid for the Impaired Medical
Students (AIMS) program. In 2000, he was honored as “Pediatrician of the Year”
by the Tennessee Chapter of the
Additionally, he has received numerous UTHSC awards for outstanding teaching, distinguished public and community service, and student mentorship.
This study quantifies the economic impact of the UTHSC on the economy of the state of Tennessee for FY2010.
