Instructions for Applicants
Neurology resident applicants should apply through the ERAS/AAMC Match Service. You can find the relevant information on the ERAS® (Electronic Residency Application Service) for Applicants
webpage.
A complete application consists of:
- Current Photograph (required)
- Personal Statement
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE or COMLEX Scores
- Three Letters of Recommendation
All ERAS applications are reviewed and invitations are extended to those selected via e-mail.
Candidates must have passed the USMLE Step 1, Step 2 (CK) and Step 2 (CS) with scores above 90. You may submit your application without your Step 2 (CS) score, however you must have your score and valid ECFMG certificate by January 30.
All residents will be required to pass a criminal background check before they are allowed to start work at the University.
Visas
We offer J1 Visa only. Please do not submit an application to our program if you require an H Visa.
Observerships and Externships
The Neurology Program does not offer observerships or externships.
Post-match positions are usually not available.
