Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is seeking an Executive Associate Dean for Administration (EAD). This position will be a non-tenure or tenure track faculty appointment. Faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications of candidate. This administrative position reports directly to the Dean of the College.

This position will serve as a member of the Administrative Council, the senior leadership team of the College, and will be responsible for facilitating sound effective working relationships between the College of Dentistry and all other UTHSC colleges and programs. The EAD will represent the interests and priorities of the Dean through effective communication, coordination, and integration of the Dean's initiatives, priorities, and objectives. The EAD delivers leadership by creating a collaborative environment that supports excellence in education, research, and service throughout the College of Dentistry. The EAD also provides timely and ongoing updates to the Dean regarding the daily operations and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness and quality.

Required Qualities and Qualifications
- Doctorate in Dentistry (DDS or DMD).
- At least five years of experience in higher education and at least two years of oversight of one or more of the areas of responsibility for the present position.
- Demonstrated senior-level administrative ability and University/College level faculty employment and teaching experience.
- Experience within a health-related field is preferred.
