Description: The Department of Physical Therapy, College of Health Professions, at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) invites applications for a 12-month, fulltime, non-tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor (rank to be commensurate with education and credentials). The successful candidate will primarily contribute to the department?s teaching and clinical service missions although some scholarship is expected for promotion. Primary teaching responsibilities for students enrolled in the DPT program include assisting in managing the clinical education portion of the curriculum as well as design and facilitation of simulation experiences. The successful candidate will also teach portions of various courses depending on the clinical background of the candidate.

Qualifications
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in TN, have 5 years of clinical experience, hold a DPT degree and teaching experience. Preference is given to candidates with an earned PhD or EdD.
