Description: The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy invites applications for a twelve-month appointment for the position of Associate Dean of the Knoxville Campus.
Responsibilities of this position include providing administrative direction to the operation of the College's Knoxville campus and identifying potential opportunities in the East Tennessee region which includes building educational and other collaborations based on the expertise of the individual filling the position. This position is responsible for assuring that all academic and student affairs programs are successfully delivered along with other administrative components as delegated by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy. This position complies with University and College guidelines/policies, and strategically works with the Dean and College administration to achieve College goals and objectives by serving as a key member of the College's Executive Committee reports to the Dean.

Minimum qualifications:
1. PharmD, PhD, or equivalent degrees.
2. Experience with graduate and professional education.
3. Documented accomplishments in teaching, research, and service at a level to be appointed as an Associate or Full Professor in one of the academic departments of the College of Pharmacy
4. Strong administrative desire with exceptional communication and leadership skills
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
6. Ability to work independently, in a team environment, and build rapport with College Personnel
7. Committed to diversity and confidentiality is a must
8. Extremely detail- and task-oriented
9. Willingness to eliminate perceived conflicts of interest and be loyal to College and its mission and vision.
10. At least three years of administrative experience in building collaborative programs and supervision of personnel.
