The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking highly motivated applicants with well-documented expertise in clinical research to join a growing and dynamic team of faculty in the College of Medicine, devoted to improvement of outcomes for patients. The position requires a strong interest and research track record and will have the opportunity to develop research programs and to collaborate with scientists and clinicians. Faculty rank based on qualifications, both tenure and non-tenure track positions available.

Successful candidates will hold an M.D., Ph.D. or relevant doctoral degree, have demonstrated scientific expertise, an ability to acquire external, investigator-initiated funding, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates with an MD degree and with clinical experience will be preferable.
