Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is seeking a full-time Physician at the academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher. The selected candidate will provide care in the Radiology Department at a University-based hospital with a busy Level 1 Trauma service in Memphis, Tennessee.
Must be able to work with residents and fellows who may be working during the shift. Case mix is approximately 50% plain films, with the rest being made up of CT, US, and MRI. Occasional Nuclear Medicine Studies and Mammography. Compensation is consistent and comparable to other services in the region.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Board certification or Board eligibility required; Completion of an accredited residency required and sub certifications/training highly preferred; Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee; Current certification DEA number; Eligible for malpractice insurance. Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site.
