Description: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Chattanooga (UTCOM) is seeking applications for a board-certified General surgeon. This full-time position is a non-tenured faculty appointment in the department of Surgery at UTCOM with rank at time of appointment to be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Qualified applicants must hold the MD degree or its equivalent. This position requires the demonstration of continued interest in and commitment to the division/department or college and to UTHSC prior to consideration.
Candidates should demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and achievements so as to be valued highly by colleagues at the local and/or state level. Responsibilities include the education of medical students/residents and duties assigned by the program director and chair.
