Description: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga is seeking applicants for the position of Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery with faculty rank commensurate with experience. The scope of this search shall be limited to the Chattanooga area.
The Chair is the chief executive and academic officer of the Department and is responsible for the entirety of the educational (i.e., undergraduate, graduate, and continuing), research, public service and patient care programs of the Department. The chair will be a geographic full-time faculty member at the Chattanooga campus.
The UT College of Medicine is affiliated with Erlanger Health System, one of the busiest Level One Trauma Centers in the U.S. Approximately 150 residents are appointed currently in nine disciplines. The Department of OB/GYN is approved for 16 residents. Visit our website at www.utcomchatt.org.
