Description: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga is seeking applicants for the position of Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with faculty rank at time of appointment to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualified individuals must hold the M.D. degree or its equivalent, board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, must have documented and proven experience as a faculty member with experience in academics, currently hold the rank of Associate Professor or above, and must have evidence of scholarly activity. Previous administrative experience is required. The goal of our residency is to educate and train excellent practitioners so that they are prepared to enter community practice or subspecialty training.

The UT College of Medicine is affiliated with Erlanger Health System, one of the busiest Level One Trauma Centers in the U.S. Approximately 150 residents are appointed currently in nine disciplines.
