Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, is accepting applications for a vascular surgeon with a strong interest in research to provide clinical care and to develop and direct the basic science and/or translational research Division. This is a full-time position at the faculty rank of associate professor or professor with tenure track status contingent on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will possess an MD degree, be vascular surgery board eligible or certified, and have a license to practice medicine in Tennessee. The successful candidate will be committed to providing quality care and education to students, residents and fellows. In particular, the applicant should have a track record of excellence in research and scholarly productivity. A history of obtaining extramural funding is highly desirable.
