Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology is actively seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor in Interventional Radiology. This position will perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in critically ill trauma and non-trauma patients. Procedures include, but are not limited to, non-coronary (incl. cerebral) angiogram, treatment of injured blood vessels by embolization and stent placements with minimal invasive percutaneous procedures, percutaneous biopsies and drainages, percutaneous minimally invasive dialysis interventions in chronically ill renal failure patients, evaluating and reading x-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds. Other duties will include teaching and supervising residents and fellows in Interventional Radiology. Candidate must have CAW or be CAQ eligible.
