Description: The University of Tennessee, Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee seeks a dynamic clinician-educator to join the faculty in the Department of Medicine at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position is a non-tenure track, part-time academic hospitalist appointment. The individual will be a member of the teaching faculty instructing residents, interns, and students in the care of patients, both at the bedside and in didactic sessions.

The successful applicant must demonstrate a track record of achievement in resident teaching. The primary role of this individual will be to serve as the attending physician for medicine house staff for three months each year. Additionally, this individual will participate in departmental grand rounds and teaching conferences, serve on departmental and hospital committees, and, if appropriate, conduct research activities.

The candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and have a license to practice medicine in Tennessee.
