Description: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine (UTCOM), in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of General Surgery. This will be a non-tenure track, full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery at UTCOM, with academic rank to be commensurate with experience.

Qualified applicants must possess an MD or equivalent degree, and should be board-certified in General Surgery. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and achievements, and an interest in academic medicine. The responsibilities of this position will include the education of medical students and residents, as well as other duties as assigned by the program director and chair.
