Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Physician Assistant Studies seeks an Assistant Program Director and non-tenure track Associate Professor. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the administration and oversight of the PA curriculum and coursework.

Other duties include participation in scholarship, teaching and other educational activities. Incumbent will serve as course director for certain courses, direct classroom teaching time for didactic sessions, complete clinical fields? assessments of students, and provide other academic duties as needed for the program. Clinical practice opportunities are available. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The successful applicant must be a PA (NCCPA-certified), have a minimum of 3 years? experience in an accredited PA program, demonstrate an understanding of the PA profession, role, practice, and educational process, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
