Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science, College of Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position within the Department of Periodontology. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Specific responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction at both the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral level. Applicants must have significant clinical experience in all modalities of periodontal therapy and the placement of dental implants. Scholarly activity is expected and opportunities are available for intramural practice. Applicants must have a DDS or DMD degree or equivalent, have completed an ADA accredited advanced training program in periodontics and be eligible for licensure in Tennessee. Eligibility for certification in IV sedation is highly desirable. Review of all applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
