Description: The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Neurology, is seeking a fellowship-trained, board certified or board eligible Vascular Neurologist qualified to serve as medical director of a neurovascular ultrasound laboratory. Must also be eligible or certified by the American Society of Neuroimaging in Neurosonology. Responsibilities will include attending coverage of inpatient stroke service, out-patient/TIA clinic, and telemedicine service rotations as well as supervision of ultrasound technologists and development of an active program of research. This is a non-tenure track appointment at the Assistant Professor level. Salary is commensurate with AAMC guidelines.
