Description: The Department of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center (UTHSC) invites applications for a Program Director at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate should have an outstanding record of clinical teaching and clinical or translational research. The Program Director should have a reputation for excellence in patient care, quality metrics and collegiality. A record of successful, clinical and research mentorship is highly desirable. Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and five years of faculty experience is required. The UTHSC Division of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine has a tradition of outstanding clinical training and clinical research. Memphis is beautiful, cosmopolitan city with a low cost of living, distinctive housing, superb schools as well as incredible food and music.
