Finding the Hardware Address of Various Printers
You will need the Hardware Address of your printer in order to flag it with Computing Services so that the IP Address doesn't expire. To find the Hardware Address click on the link below of your printer model and then follow the instructions. If you printer model is not listed please call the Helpdesk at 448-2222 for instructions. As requests come in printers and instructions will be added.
- HP LaserJet 2000 Series (includes 2100,2200, etc.)
- HP LaserJet 4000 Series (includes 4100,4200, etc.)
- HP LaserJet 8000 Series (includes 8100,8150, etc.)
- HP LaserJet 9000 Series
- HP Color LaserJet 3700 Series
