Summer Research Scholars (SRS)
Eligibility: Freshman‐Junior Undergraduate Students
Program Description: SRS is an eight‐week program designed to help exceptionally well‐qualified undergraduate students gain valuable research experience in the College of Graduate Health Sciences and the College of Pharmacy. Students are matched with UTHSC faculty and spend the eight weeks learning about real‐world research protocols, enhancing biomedical information and retrieval skills, and designing scientific abstracts, among other things. The program culminates with presentations by the students based on the research they worked on during the summer.
