This Friday: Montgomery/Cochran Distinguished Professorship

Friday, March 18, 2016, from noon to 5pm, the UT Hamilton Eye Institute (HEI) and Southern College of Optometry (SCO) will co-host the Montgomery/Cochran Distinguished Visiting Professorship in the Freeman Auditorium of HEI's third floor at 930 Madison Avenue. The event will feature two visiting speakers: HEI's John L. Montgomery, Sr., MD, Distinguished Visiting Professor, Daniel S. Durrie, MD, clinical professor and director of refractive surgery services, University of Kansas Medical Center; and SCO's Cochran Distinguished Visiting Professor, Jeffrey J. Walline, OD, PhD, associate professor and associate dean for research, Ohio State University College of Optometry.

Dr. Durrie's topics will be "Dysfunctional Lens Syndrome: A Breakthrough in Patient Education" and "AcuFocus KAMRA® Corneal Inlay for Presbyopia." Dr. Walline's topic will be "Myopia Control." Members of HEI and SCO's faculty will also discuss additional topics of refractive surgery.
