HEI & SCO Co-Host 2nd Montgomery/Cochran Professorship

On March 18, HEI and the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) co-hosted our 2nd annual joint meeting, which featured two visiting speakers: HEI's John L. Montgomery, Sr., MD, Distinguished Visiting Professor, Daniel S. Durrie, MD, clinical professor and director of refractive surgery services, University of Kansas Medical Center; and SCO's Cochran Distinguished Visiting Professor, Jeffrey J. Walline, OD, PhD, associate professor and associate dean for research, Ohio State University College of Optometry.

Dr. Durrie presented "Dysfunctional Lens Syndrome: A Breakthrough in Patient Education" and "AcuFocus KAMRA® Corneal Inlay for Presbyopia." Dr. Walline's topic was "Myopia Control." Members of HEI and SCO's faculty also presented additional topics of refractive surgery.
