Continuing Education Complaint Procedures
The following procedures should be followed if there is a complaint related to a continuing education offering sponsored or co-sponsored by the University of Tennessee Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities. The availability of the complaint procedure will be printed in materials distributed to the participants who attend training events. The procedure will also be posted in the training areas. In the event that a participant has a complaint about continuing education sponsored or co-sponsored by the Boling Center, the following steps should be followed:
The complaint should be made in writing to:

- The person receiving the complaint will submit to the Training Coordinator within seven working days from the time of receiving the complaint.
- A written response will be made within fourteen working days from the time the complaint is received.
- If the response is not acceptable, the participant should respond in writing and the complaint will be forwarded to the Boling Center Training Committee to be considered. A written response will be sent to the participant within fourteen working days from the time of receiving the complaint.
- If the response is not acceptable to the participant, the participant should respond in writing and the complaint will be taken to the Director of the Boling Center for further action.
