COE Best Practices Collaborative

The COE Best Practices Collaborative is a project designed to advance the implementation of Best Practices in the treatment of child abuse and neglect and attachment problems by mental health treatment providers across Tennessee. The project is a collaborative effort of the statewide network of Centers of Excellence for Children in State Custody (COEs).

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • West Tennessee TF-CBT Learning Collaborative (2008)
  • Middle Tennessee TF-CBT Learning Collaborative (2008 - 2009)
  • East Tennessee TF-CBT Learning Collaborative (2008 - 2009)
  • Statewide TF-CBT Learning Collaborative (2010)
  • Memphis Community-Based TF-CBT Learning Collaborative (2013-2014)
  • Annual Regional Basic TF-CBT 2-day Trainings (West, Middle, East 2009 - present)
  • Advanced TF-CBT trainings (Supervision; TF-CBT for Preschoolers; TF-CBT in Residential Placements; 2009 - present)
  • Ongoing consultation
