  Greetings from Memphis February 2017
Greetings from your UT Health Science Center! I trust you and yours had a wonderful holiday season and you are off to great 2017.

Since our last issue, we gained 135 new members of our alumni family at UTHSC Commencement in December. We were honored to have Kimbrough Dunlap, president of the UT Alumni Association, speak at the ceremony and welcome our new graduates to the UTAA!

Our local UTHSC Alumni Chapter staffed a hydration station for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon in December, providing water and energy drinks for the runners. More than forty alumni and friends participated in this wonderful event. Rest assured, you are being represented well in Memphis!

We also work hard to build relations between our alumni and current students, with events such as the Resumé Roadshow, which provides an opportunity for our students to meet with UTHSC alumni in their particular field of study to gain insight on how to get started upon graduation. This year's event took place on February 23.

Resume Roadshow
Dr. David Solomon, '69, '70, meets with a student during the Resumé Roadshow.

As always, I want to thank you for representing the UT Health Science Center so well. We are fortunate to have such an active and engaged alumni base. We encourage you to come back to campus for a reunion when the opportunity arises. Please let us know if our office can ever assist you.

Sincerely,

Tim Lanier
Assistant Vice Chancellor for Alumni Affairs
