Greetings

Spring has sprung! It has been a busy few months here at UTHSC!

I know many of you were affected, or know someone who was affected, by the devastating tornadoes and storms last month. Please know you continue to be in our thoughts. If we can do anything to assist you, please contact me.

In this issue, you will read about the current construction plan for the Memphis campus. You can thank our state legislators and donors for making this transformational project happen. We also have many engagement opportunities for you in the coming months.

One of the biggest days circled on our upcoming graduates' calendars is the week of commencement. The week of May 26 is full of collegiate convocations with the campus ceremony set for Friday, May 30, at the FedEx Forum here in Memphis. Another strong class of professionals will be entering the health care field. Soon they will realize what you already know, "Where Would You Be Without UTHSC?"

Hope to see you at an alumni reception or reunion soon!

Kris Phillips
Associate Vice Chancellor for Alumni Affairs
