Greetings from your UT Health Science Center Office of Alumni and Annual Giving!
Things are changing here, and I want you to be a part of the change. By receipt of this inaugural "Vital Signs," you are seeing one of the changes. This quarterly newsletter will inform you about all that is happening at your alma mater.
Did you know 2011 marked the Centennial anniversary of UTHSC? As we build on the momentum of our first 100 years, it is even more important for YOU to get involved. My hope is that, as you think about your career and where you are, you will be able to tell us, Where Would You Be Without UTHSC? Tell us your UTHSC story.
You should also know that your alumni office has a new website at uthscalumni.com. Wondering when your next class reunion is? Bookmark our events page to stay up to date on our many alumni events. Discover the benefits of being part of the UT family.
UTHSC has seen tremendous growth recently. Dr. Steve Schwab is leading our campus and attracting world-renowned deans to lead our six colleges, which have a local, regional and national impact.
If you have not been to Memphis, you are missing a Renaissance. Several buildings on the UTHSC campus now have an orange "UT" branded across the top that can be seen from aerial views. Construction is ongoing — have you seen the $60 million College of Pharmacy building? More is on the way!
Without YOU making us your professional school choice, we would not be where we are today!
Contact me if you have questions, suggestions for Vital Signs, or just want to find out how you can be involved.
