Speech & Language Services

In addition to our specialized programs such as CHS, PLC, and BLAST, the Hearing and Speech Center provides a number of general diagnostic and treatment services to children, adolescents and adults with communication and related disorders/differences.

Areas addressed at HSC include, but are not limited to, articulation, cognition, fluency, language, swallowing, and voice disorders. The type and length of treatment vary according to individual needs and the nature and severity of the problem. Individual and group treatment programs are offered. Family members receive support, progress updates, and suggestions about ways to facilitate communication and related skills. Consultations and in service programs are also provided.
