Jong Ho Won, Ph.D.

Research Interests

My current research interests include psychophysical and physiological mechanisms of hearing. My long-term research goal is to better understand what are important acoustic cues that determine cochlear implant perceptual outcomes, and how they are represented in the auditory system, and how perceptual and physiological patterns change with different cochlear implant signal processing strategies, so that signal processing engineers know what information is important to preserve when designing speech processing strategies for cochlear implant users.
