Beth Choby, MD, FAAFP
Beth Choby, MD FAAFP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. She completed a Family Medicine Residency and Advanced Womens Health/Obstetrics fellowship at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. She also completed a Faculty Development Fellowship at the Waco Faculty Development Center in Texas. She has taught at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) AHEC Ft. Smith and Methodist Hospital System, Houston TX. She also served as the Clerkship director in Family Medicine at UTCOM-Chattanooga.
Natalie Ensminger has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Christian Brothers University and was the Executive Director of the Indie Memphis Film Festival. She uses her background in education and energy for working with creative people to help the Kaplan Clinical Skills Center prepare future doctors by providing learning opportunities with realistic patients.
Michael works with the Clinical Skills Program and also assists with the development of monthly course syllabi for the Doctoring: Recognizing Signs and Symptoms and the Prevention, Community, and Culture courses.
Jocelyn Blake is a recent graduate of The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She obtained a Bachelors in Communication with a focus on Magazines. She is the Administrative Secretary for The Center so her main duty is to assist the students and Standardized Patients. Jocelyn is also responsible for booking the encounters and other events that take place in the Kaplan Clinical Skills Center.
