Alternate Positions
The alternate list is developed by the Committee on Admissions at the end of the admissions cycle. The Committee ranks the alternate list and as the class size falls below 165, these positions can be filled administratively in an expedient manner. It is virtually impossible to predict how many alternates will be accepted in any given year.
Alternates who are not offered an acceptance, will be notified via postal service no later than the first week in August.
To reapply you must submit your application electronically from the American Medical College Application Service.
An alternate position does not carry a guarantee of acceptance to this class or any future class.
