What: The College of Allied Health will be hosting its second centennial speaker event. Dr. Barbara Connolly will discuss the topic “Physical Therapy: Past, Present and Future." Dr. Connolly has been a pillar in the PT program here at UTHSC and in the community for many years prior to her recent retirement. As the former chair of the program and former Interim Dean of the College, we want to celebrate her contributions to PT and our College.

Rhea Seddon, MD, Astronaut, Surgeon, Alumna of The University of Tennessee Health Science Center to Speak at September 17 Centennial Gala
June 16, 2011 - A Memphis-trained physician, turned NASA astronaut returns to her alma mater – the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) – this fall. Margaret Rhea Seddon, MD, a 1973 graduate of the UT College of Medicine, Memphis campus, will deliver the evening address at the UTHSC Centennial Gala on September 17. (Read more ...)
